வணக்கம் நண்பர்களே,

இன்று (7-12-2009) டேஷேஸ் கிரிக்கெட் போட்டிகள் கோலாகலமாக TCG யில் நடை பெற்றது. இந்த வாரம் நமக்கு Fantastic climate, fantastic ground and fantastic players கிடைத்தது. வழக்கம் போல 3 போட்டிகள் நடைபெற்றன.

இரு அணிகள் ராஜ்குமார் மற்றும் ஜெபசீலன் தலைமையில் அணிவகுத்து நின்றன. அவர்கள் அணி விவரம் வருமாறு:

1st Match (8 Overs)

ஜெபசீலன் டாஸில் வெற்றி பெற்று பேட்டிங்கை தேர்வு செய்தார். அவரது அணி ராஜ்குமார் அணியினரின் அனல் கக்கும் பந்து வீச்சை சமாளிக்க முடியாமல் 17 ரன்களுக்குள் சுருண்டனர். அவரது அணியில் ஒருவர் கூட நன்றாக ஆடவில்லை. பின்னர் ஆடிய ராஜ்குமார் அணி இந்த இலக்கை 5 ஓவரில் அடைந்தது. ரவிசங்கர் அடுத்தடுத்து 2 சிக்ஸர் விளாசி போட்டியை சப்பையாக முடித்தார். ராஜ்குமார் அணி கடைசியில் 2 விக்கெட் வித்தியாசத்தில் இந்த போட்டியை வென்றது.

2 nd Match (8 Overs)

இந்த போட்டியிலும் டாஸில் வெற்றி பெற்று மறுபடியும் தனது அணி பேட்டிங் செய்யும் என்று அறிவித்தார். இந்த முறையும் அவரது அணியினரால் ஒன்றும் பெரியதாக அடிக்க முடியவில்லை. அவர்கள் வெறும் 14 ரன்களே எடுத்தனர். இதை சேஸ் செய்த ராஜ்குமார் அணி அபார வெற்றி பெற்றது. அவர்கள் செல்வா வீசிய முதல் ஓவரிலேயே இந்த ஸ்கோரை எடுத்தனர். ரவிசங்கர் இந்த போட்டியிலும் அடுத்தடுத்து 2 சிக்ஸர் அடித்து அமர்களப்படுத்தினார். ராஜ்குமார் அணி 2 -௦0 என்ற கணக்கில் முன்னிலை பெற்றனர். ரவிசங்கர் ஆட்ட நாயகனாக தேர்ந்து எடுக்க பட்டார்.

3rd Match (10 Overs)

ஜெபசீலன் அணி பலவீனமாக இருந்ததால் சங்கர் அவரது அணிக்கு வந்தார். இதற்கு பதில் கார்த்திக் J ராஜ்குமார் அணியை பலபடுத்த சென்றார். இடையில் போட்டிக்கு வந்த லக்ஷ்மணன் ராஜ்குமார் அணிக்கு சென்றார்.

இந்த போட்டியில் ராஜ்குமார் டாஸில் வெற்றி பெற்று பேட்டிங்கை தேர்வு செய்து தனது அணி முதலில் பேட்டிங் செய்யும் என்று அறிவித்தார். முதலில் தடுமாறிய ராஜ்குமார் அணி பின்னர் சுதாரித்து விளையாடி 37 ரன்கள் எடுத்தது. ரவிசங்கர் இந்த போட்டியிலும் 2 சிக்ஸர் அடித்தார். அவரை ஜெபசீலன் அற்புதமான பந்து வீசினால் கிளீன் போல்ட் ஆக்கினார். சங்கர் பந்து வீச்சில் அனல் பறந்தது.

இந்த ஸ்கோரை சேஸ் செய்து இந்த போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்றே தீர வேண்டும் என்று ஜெபசீலன் அணியினர் களம் இறங்கினர். ஜெபசீலனும், சங்கரும் துவக்க ஆட்ட காரர்களாக இறங்கினர். ஜெப சீலன் ரன் எடுக்க மிகவும் சிரம பட்டார். ஒரு முனையில் சங்கர் நிதானமாக விளையாட மறு பக்கம் விக்கெட் மளமள வென்று விழுந்தது. வெற்றி பெற வெறும் 12 ரன்கள் தேவை என்ற நிலையில் சங்கர் அவுட் ஆனது ஜெபசீலன் அணிக்கு பெருத்த அடியாக விழுந்தது. செல்வாவும் பொறுப்பற்ற முறையில் சூர்ய பாபுவின் பந்து வீச்சில் கிளீன் போல்ட் ஆனார். தனி ஆளாக அருண் குமார் போராடினார். இவர் இதே போன்று பல முறை தனது அணியை தனி ஆளாக நின்று வெற்றி பாதைக்கு அழைத்து சென்றிருக்கிறார். இந்த முறையும் இவர் சாதித்து காட்டுவார் என அனைவரும் ஆவலுடன் எதிர் பார்த்து இருந்தனர்.

கடைசி ஓவரில் வெறும் 2 ரன்கள் தேவை என்ற நிலையில் அருண் சிக்ஸர் அடிக்க முயற்சி செய்தார். சூர்ய பாபு அந்த பந்தை அற்புதமாக கேட்ச் செய்து ஜெபசீலன் அணியின் வெற்றி கனவை தகர்த்து எறிந்தார். இறுதியில் ராஜ்குமார் அணியினர் 1 ரன் வித்தியாசத்தில் மயிரிழையில் வெற்றி பெற்றனர். அவுட் ஆனதும் அருண்குமார் கண் கலங்கினார்.

டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை ராஜ்குமார் அணி 3 க்கு 0 என்ற கணக்கில் அபாரமாக கைப்பற்றியது.

வீரர்களின் கூட்டு முயற்சியாலேயே எங்களால் டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை வெல்ல முடிந்தது என்று வெற்றி பெற்ற கேப்டன் ராஜ்குமார் கூறினார். தோல்வி குறித்து ஜெபசீலன் கூறும் போது பிட்ச் பந்து வீச்சாளர்களுக்கு சாதகமாக இருந்தது என்றும் தங்கள் அணியில் யாரும் பொறுப்பாக விளையாட வில்லை என்று வருத்தம் தெரிவித்தார்.

ஆட்ட நாயகன் மற்றும் தொடர் நாயகன் விருது இரண்டும் ரவிஷங்கருக்கு வழங்க பட்டது.

பின்னர் நிருபர்களிடம் பேசிய ரவிசங்கர் தனக்கு கேப்டன் ராஜ்குமார் மிகவும் ஊக்கம் அளித்ததாகவும், எவ்வாறு பேட்டிங் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று Coach கேரி கிர்ஸ்டன் கொடுத்த Tips களினாலும் தான் நன்றாக ஆட முடிந்தது என்று தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்த வார டேஷேஸ் இன் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்:

* கடந்த வாரம் மூடி இருந்த juice கடை இன்று திறந்து இருந்தது.

* மழை காரணமாக மைதானம் சிறிது ஈரமாக இருந்தந்து.

* ரவிசங்கர் ஒவ்வொரு போட்டியிலும் தலா இரண்டு சிக்ஸர் அடித்தார். மொத்தம் 6 சிக்ஸர்கள் இன்று அவர் அடித்தார். வேறு யாரும் சிக்ஸர் அடிக்க வில்லை.

* செல்வா out-of-form இல் இருப்பதால் கேப்டன் பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்தார். ஜெபசீலன் கேப்டன் பதவியை ஏற்றார்.

* ராஜ்குமார் மிகவும் aggressive ஆக captainship செய்தார். அதனால் அவரது அணி 3-0 என்ற கணக்கில் அபார வெற்றி பெற்றது.

* அருள் ராஜ் கடந்த வாரம் கீழே விழுவது போன்று கனவு கண்டாராம். அதே போல இன்று விளையாடும் போது கீழே விழுந்து வாரினார்.

* அனைத்து போட்டிகளுக்கும் தொடர்ந்து வந்த ஒரே வீரர் என்ற பெருமையை ஜாவீத் கான் இழந்தார். அவர் இன்று தூங்கி விட்டதால் போட்டிக்கு வர வில்லை. இது வரை அவர் மட்டுமே அனைத்து போட்டிகளுக்கும் தவறாது வந்த ஒரே வீரர்.

* சங்கர் மட்டும் தான் இன்று பந்தை boundary க்கு அடித்தார். அவரது பந்து வீச்சும் அனல் கக்கும் படி இருந்தது.

* கடந்த வாரம் கலக்கிய பத்மநாபன் மற்றும் சூர்ய பாபு இருவரும் இந்த வாரம் கலக்க வில்லை.

* 3 வது போட்டியில் செல்வா அவரது மச்சான் சூர்ய பாபுவை கிளீன் போல்ட் செய்தார். பதிலுக்கு செல்வா பேட்டிங் செய்யும் போது சூர்ய பாபு செல்வாவை கிளீன் போல்ட் செய்து பழிக்கு பழி தீர்த்தார்.

* போட்டியின் நடுவே ரவிசங்கர் அனைவருக்கும் வடை விருந்து வைத்தார். அந்த மசால் வடை சாப்பிட்டதால் Fielding செய்த ஜெபசீலன் அணியினருக்கு தாகம் எடுத்தது.

* செல்வா, ஜெபசீலன், பத்மநாபன் மற்றும் சங்கர் இவர்கள் அனைவரும் out-of-form இல் இருந்தனர். குறிப்பாக செல்வா மற்றும் ஜெபசீலன் பேட்டிங் இல் சொதப்பினர்.

* புதிதாக captain ஆகி 3-0 என்று டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை கைப்பற்றிய ராஜ்குமாருக்கு ஜனாதிபதி பிரதிபா பாட்டில் வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தார்.

MATCH UPDATE (30-11-2009)

WELCOME TO DASHES SERIES....

இந்த வாரம் 30-11-2009 மொத்தம் 3 போட்டிகள் நடைபெற்றன. டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை வெல்ல செல்வா மற்றும் ஜாவீத் அணியினர் மோதினர். மிகவும் பர பரப்பாக நடைபெற்ற இத்தொடரில் செல்வா அணியினர் 2 க்கு 1 என்று டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை வென்றனர். போட்டி விவரம் வருமாறு:

முதல் போட்டி (6 overs)

ரசிகர்களின் பலத்த ஆரவாரத்தின் இடையே இரு அணியினரின் கேப்டன்கள் டாஸ் போட சென்றனர். முதல் போட்டியில் செல்வா டாஸ் வென்று தமது அணி பேட்டிங் செய்யும் என்று அறிவித்தார். துவக்க வீரர்களாக களம் இறங்கிய வடிவேல் மற்றும் பத்மநாபன் நன்றாக ஆடினார்கள். ஜாவீத் அணியில் புது முகம் சூர்யபாபு இடம் பெற்றார். அவர் மிகவும் துடிப்புடன் பந்து வீசினார். செல்வா அணியினர் வெற்றிக்கு 27 ரன்கள் நிர்ணயித்தனர். இதை chase செய்ய ஜாவீத் அணியினர் மிகவும் திணறினார்கள். பத்மநாபன் அற்புதமாக பந்து வீசி 2 விக்கெட்களை முதல் ஓவரில் வீழ்த்தி வெற்றிக்கு வித்திட்டார். ஜாவீத் அணி இறுதியில் 20 ரன்கள் வித்தியாசத்தில் தோற்றனர்.

இரண்டாவது போட்டி (8 ஓவர்)

இப்போட்டியிலும் செல்வா டாஸ் வென்று தமது அணி பேட்டிங் செய்யும் என்று கூறினார். வழக்கம் போல பத்மநாபன் மற்றும் வடிவேல் துவக்க ஆட்ட காரர்களாக களம் இறங்கினர். அடுத்து ஆட வந்த ரவிசங்கர் சூர்யாவின் பந்து வீச்சில் கிளீன் போல்ட் ஆனார். செல்வா ஜாவீத் பந்து வீச்சில் அவரிடமே கேட்ச் கொடுத்து அவுட் ஆனார். இறுதியில் 30 ரன்களை இலக்காக நிர்ணயித்தார்கள். இதை விரட்டிய ஜாவீத் அணியினர் மறுபடியும் சொதப்பினர். சூர்யா மற்றும் ஜாவீத் இருவரும் சிக்ஸர் அடிக்க ஆசை பட்டு கேட்ச் கொடுத்து அவுட் ஆனார்கள். கடைசி விக்கெட்டிற்கு ஆடிய அருள் ராஜ் அதிரடியாக ஆடினார். பர பரப்பான கட்டத்தில், 2 ஓவரில் 12 ரன்கள் எடுத்தால் வெற்றி பெறலாம் என்ற சூழ்நிலையில் செல்வா பந்து வீச வந்தார். அவர் வீசிய இரண்டாவது பந்தில் அருள் ராஜ் சிக்ஸர் அடிக்க முயற்சி செய்து வடிவேல் இடம் கேட்ச் கொடுத்து அவுட் ஆனார். இத்துடன் டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை வெல்லும் ஜாவீத் அணியனரின் கனவு தகர்ந்தது.

3 வது போட்டி (8 ஓவர்)

இந்த முறை டாஸ்-இல் ஜாவீத் வெற்றி பெற்றார். அவர் பேட்டிங் செய்வதாக அறிவித்தார். இப்போட்டியில் துவக்க ஆட்ட காரர்களாக களம் இறங்கிய சூர்ய பாபுவும் அருள் ராஜும் செல்வா அணியினரின் பந்து வீச்சை துவம்சம் செய்தனர். அறிமுக வீரரான சூர்யா ரசிகர்களுக்கு வான வேடிக்கை காட்டினார். டேஷேஸ் வரலாறில் சங்கருக்கு அடுத்து longest சிக்ஸ் அடித்தவர் என்ற பெருமையை சூர்யபாபு பெற்றார். ஜாவீத் வழக்கம் போல அதிரடி ஆட்டம் ஆட முயற்சி செய்து தனது விக்கெட்டை இழந்தார். இறுதியில் அவரது அணி 55 ரன்களை இலக்காக நிர்ணயித்தது. இதை விரட்டிய செல்வா அணியினரின் துவக்க ஆட்ட காரர்கள் வடிவேல் மற்றும் பத்மநாபன் நன்றாக ஆடினார்கள். முதல் விக்கெட்டுக்கு வடிவேல் அவுட் ஆனார். பின்னர் ஆட வந்த ரவிஷங்கரும் ரசிகர்களை ஏமாற்றினார். கடந்த வாரத்தை போல இந்த வாரமும் அவர் வான வேடிக்கை காட்டுவார் என எதிர் பார்த்த ரசிகர்களுக்கு மிகவும் ஏமாற்றமே மிஞ்சியது. அவர் விரைவில் அவுட் ஆனார். கேப்டன் செல்வா டக் அவுட் ஆகியது போட்டியை விறு விறுப்பாகியது. கடைசி விக்கெட்டாக ஆடிய பத்மநாபன் தனி ஆளாக நின்று போராடினார். வெற்றியின் விளிம்பு வரை தனது அணியை அழைத்து சென்ற அவர், 10 பந்தில் வெறும் 4 ரன்கள் அடித்தால் வெற்றி என்ற நிலையில் அவுட் ஆனார். சூர்ய பாபுவின் பந்து வீச்சில் 6 அடித்து போட்டியை முடிக்க நினைத்து பந்தை தூக்கி அடித்தார். நிச்சயம் சிக்ஸ் என்று அனைவரும் ஆவலுடன் பார்த்து கொண்டிருக்கும் போது கேப்டன் ஜாவீத் அற்புதமாக கேட்ச் செய்து அனைவரையும் ஆச்சர்யத்திலும் அதிர்ச்சியிலும் ஆழ்த்தினார்.


இறுதியில் செல்வா அணியினர் டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை 2 க்கு 1 என்ற கணக்கில் கைப்பற்றினர்.

அமெரிக்க அதிபர் ஒபாமா வெற்றி கேப்டன் செல்வாவிற்கு டேஷேஸ் கோப்பையை வழங்கினார். தொடர் நாயகன் விருது பெற்ற அறிமுக வீரர் சூர்ய பாபுவிற்கு அதிபர் ஒபாமா தங்க பேட்-டை பரிசாக அளித்தார்.

இந்த வார டேஷேஸ் சீரீஸ் - சிறப்பம்சங்கள்:

1. இந்த வாரம் பல வீரர்கள் போட்டிக்கு வர வில்லை. அதிரடி ஆட்டக்காரர் அமர்நாத், "தென்னிந்தியாவின் ஜான்டி ரோட்ஸ்" ராஜ் குமார், முன்னாள் கேப்டன் ஜோசப், இடது கை பந்து வீச்சாளர் பர்வதநாதன், அலட்டி கொள்ளாத வீரர் ஜெபசீலன், நாராயணன், வினோத், கார்த்திக், சங்கர், இளங்கதிர், பழனி, யூசூப், ஸ்ரீராம் மற்றும் ராமலிங்கம் ஆகியோர் இந்த வாரம் போட்டியில் கலந்து கொள்ள வில்லை.

2. போட்டிக்கு டிக்கெட் கிடைக்காததால் ஆயிரகணக்கான ரசிகர்கள் ஸ்டேடியம் வெளியே நீண்ட நேரம் காத்து இருந்தனர்.

3. இந்த போட்டியில் புது முகம் சூர்ய பாபு களம் இறங்கினார். இவரது மாமா தான் செல்வா. இதன் மூலம் டேஷேஸ் தொடரில் பங்கேற்ற முதல் மாமன் - மச்சான் என்ற பெருமையை செல்வா & சூர்யா பெற்றனர்.

4. செல்வா 3 போட்டியிலும் ஜாவீத் இடமே கேட்ச் கொடுத்து அவுட் ஆகி கடுப்பேற்றினார். அவர் இத்தொடரில் 3 போட்டிகள் விளையாடி வெறும் 2 ரன் மட்டுமே எடுத்தார். இருந்தாலும் பத்மநாபன், வடிவேல் மற்றும் ரவிஷங்கரின் ஆல் ரவுண்டு திறமையினால் கோப்பையை வென்றனர்.

5. ஜூஸ் கடை ஏனோ மூடி இருந்தது. இதனால் வீரர்கள் பெரும் அவதி பட்டனர்.

6. செல்வா பந்து வீசிய போது யோகேஷுக்கு பட கூடாத இடத்தில் பந்து பட்டது. யோகேஷ் வலியை பொருட்படுத்தாமல் "மணியே... மணியின் ஒலியே..." என்று situation song பாடி அனைவரையும் சிரிக்க வைத்தார்.

7. ரவி ஷங்கர் வழக்கம் போல ஒரு பந்தை ரயில்வே ட்ராக்கில் அடித்தார்.

8. மழை 3 வது போட்டியின் போது சிறுது பெய்ய தொடங்கியது. வீரர்கள் அனைவரும் அதை பொருட்படுத்தாமல் தொடர்ந்து விளையாடியது ரசிகர்களை மிகவும் நெகிழ செய்தது.

9. மூன்று போட்டியிலும் டாஸ் வென்ற அணியே போட்டியை வென்றது.

தவிர்க்க முடியாத காரணங்களால் உடனடியாக வர்ணனையை வெளியிட முடியவில்லை. மிகவும் தாமதமாக வர்ணனைகளை தந்ததற்கு மிகவும் வருந்துகிறோம்.

1st Match:
Joseph won the toss and elected to bat first.

Ravi Shankar and Joseph opened the innings for their team.But Unfortunately lost their 1st wkt earlier.Rajkumar bowled teriffic.He got sankar,Joseph and Arun wickets.Arun hit 6 and followbed by a four.He bowled out by Rajkumar. Rajkumar bowled well. He took 3 wickets. Finally Joseph team set a target of 34 runs to Javeed Team.

Javeed Team was on fire. They acheived the target in just 4.5 overs. Javeed and Vadivel smashed 2 sixers each and a four.Javeed smashed 2 huge sixes at padmanaban’s 1st over. Javeed team successfully chased the target without any difficult.

Rajkumar was elected as man of the match. He took 3 valuable wickets.

2nd Match (8 over)

Javeed won the toss and elected to bat first

Arulraj and Vadivel opened the innings for javeed team.Arulraj were playing singles and gave chance to vadivel.But vadivel out earlier.Then Ramalingam came for first down and smashed Ravisankar over. He hit2 back to back sixers and a four. Ravisankar had struggle to bowl Ramalingam. Finally Javeed team set a target of 42 runs.

Joseph and Arunkumar opened the innings for joseph team. Joseph got out earlier.Then Arun also got out. Ravi Shankar and Yogesh gave partnership for joseph team. Ravisankar faced Ramalingam over hit 2 sixers and 4. He got revenge in Ramalingam’s over. Totally, Ravisankar hit 4 sixers and a 4. After Ravisankar and yogesh were dismissed, match was so tight. Finally Lakshmanan hit a 4 to finish the match. Joseph team won the match by 1 wicket.

Man of this Match was Ravisankar. He took 6 wickets and hit 4 sixes.

3rd Match (6 Overs)

Joseph won the toss and bat first. Few changes made to both the teams.

Sriram and Yogeshwaran opened the innings for joseph team.Started slowly hit singles and coupler runs for their team.Padmanaban picked 2 wickets.Finally Joseph Team fixed the target 35 for Javeed team.

The openers of Javeed’s team Arul raj and Rajkumar came to the match after their night shift work. So, they got out early. They many quick wickets. They were in deep trouble as their middle order batsmen Javeed, vadivel and Jawahar karthik out without scoring much. But Joseph team can’t capitalize the situation. They can’t control the fire innings from Padmanaban. He smashed Joseph’s bowlers. He hit 4 sixers and a 4. He smashed 2 sixer in the thrilling Lakshmanan’s last over

Man of the Match Padmanaban. He picked 2 wickets and smashed 4 sixes and a four to win the series for his team.

தாக்கரேவுக்கு கண்டனம்!!!

சச்சின் ஒரு மகத்தான வீரர் மட்டும் அல்ல. அவர் ஒரு தலை சிறந்த மனிதரும் கூட. அவர் இந்தியர் எனக் கூறி கொள்ள மிகவும் பெருமை அடைகிறார். சச்சின் ஒரு இந்தியர் என்பதில் நாம் அனைவரும் பெருமை அடைகிறோம். சச்சின் இந்த நாட்டின் செல்ல குழந்தை. அனைவரின் அன்பிற்கும் பாத்திரமான ஒரே மனிதர் அவர்.

அவர் இந்தியாவில் பிறந்ததிற்கு நாம் அனைவரும் புண்ணியம் செய்திருக்க வேண்டும். அவர் வாழும் அதே காலத்தில் நாமும் வாழ்கிறோம் என்பதில் மிகவும் பெருமை அடைகிறோம். அப்பேர் பட்ட சரித்திரம் படைத்த ஒரு மனிதனுக்கு கண்டனம் தெரிவித்த பால் தாக்ரேவிற்கு டேஷேஸ் அணியினர் அனைவரும் கடும் கண்டனத்தை தெரிவித்து கொள்கிறோம்.

REQUEST FROM A COUNTRY HEAD

Last week DASHES Series was disturbed by some political interference during the 3rd International Dashes Match. Because local Police officials said that they can't provide full securities to the players and the audiences due to their Deputy Chief Minister arrival on that way.

The Cricket fans were upset about this action from the police and strongly condemned it. DASHES organizers did not want to comment about police action. Last year, during the 2nd IPL Matches our nation faced General Election and the Government was not in the position to give security to the IPL matches. Many foriegn countries tried to host that IPL matches in their country. Finally, South Africa hosted the second show of IPL successfully. By seeing the great success of the 2nd IPL matches in foreign country, now many countries are ready to host our DASHES Series.

Here the followings are the request from Foriegn Countries President:

We profited about 1 billion dollars by hosting the IPL Matches. Our economists say that the profit amount will be 50 billion dollars if South Africa hosts the great DASHES Series.

Asif Ali ZARDARI, President of Pakistan:

It will be great to our country if we host the DASHES Series here at Pakistan. I give assurance that we will host this show in a very peacefull manner, so that other international team can remove their fear to play in Pakistan. I hope DASHES organizer will approve my request.

Gordon Brown, Prime Minister of England:

I want to stop our English County Matches and will launch DASHES Series. I hope this step will boost the Internation Cricket and English Cricket. Our England Cricket Board approved that they will give the Lord's Cricket Ground to the DASHES Team to play next DASHES Series.

Many Indian Personalities are trying to Buy some of the DASHES Team

* Amitabh Bachan is trying to buy Joseph's Team for Rs. 400 Crores. Amitabh did not get appointment from the Captain Joseph for the negotiation.

* Jebaseelan team was approached by Salman Khan. His team was offered for Rs. 425 Crores.

* Pepsi wants to buy Karthik SM team for Rs 510 Crores.

* Software Giant Wipro approached Selva to buy his team for Rs 550 Crores. But Selva signed the agreement with Anil Ambani for Rs 700 Crores.

This week DASHES Series matches have been played at TCG (Trisulam Cricket Ground). Despite of good weather, we have played just 2 matches. And, the series was drawn at 1-1. We started playing 3rd match. But it was abandunt due to political interference.

The two teams were captained by Karthik SM and Jebaseelan.

First Match (8 Overs)
முதல் போட்டியில் ஜெபசீலன் டாஸ் வென்றார். அவர் பேட்டிங்கை தேர்வு செய்தார். கார்த்திக் அணியின் பந்து வீச்சை சமாளிக்க முடியாமல் திணறினார்கள். ஜெபா, செல்வா, கார்த்திக் J மூவரும் ரன் எடுக்க தவறினார்கள். வடிவேல் சிறப்பான ஆட்டத்தை வெளி படுத்தினார். அவர் 2 சிக்ஸர் அடித்து அசத்தினார். பர்வதநாதன் தனது பங்கிற்கு 2 ரன் எடுத்தார். முடிவில் ஜெபா அணியினர் 17 ரன்களுக்குள் சுருண்டனர். பத்மநாபன் 3 விக்கட்கள் எடுத்து தூள் கிளப்பினார்.

18 ரன்கள் என்ற எளிய இலக்குடன் விளையாடிய கார்த்திக் அணியினர். முதல் ஓவரில் தங்கள் கேப்டன்-ஐ இழந்தனர். கார்த்திக் செல்வா பந்தில் அவரிடமே கேட்ச் கொடுத்து அவுட் ஆனார். இறுதியில் அவர் அணி 4.1 ஓவரில் வெற்றி இலக்கை அடைந்தது. ஜாவீத் மற்றும் மணி இறுதி வரை அவுட் ஆகாமல் இருந்தனர்.

Second Match: (8 Overs)
இந்த போட்டியில் கார்த்திக் டாஸ் வென்று பேட்டிங்கை தேர்வு செய்தார். இந்த போட்டியில் பழனி மற்றும் மணி ஜெபா அணியில் விளையாடினர். பர்வதநாதன் கார்த்திக் அணிக்கு சென்றார்.

முதலில் விளையாடிய கார்த்திக் அணியினர் பெரிய ஸ்கோர் அடிக்க தவறினர். அவர்கள் 22 ரன்கள் மட்டுமே எடுத்தனர். பல வாரங்கள் கழித்து ஜாவீத் இன்று சிக்ஸர் அடித்து ரசிகர்களை பரவசப்படுத்தினார். அவர் மட்டும் 10 ரன்கள் எடுத்தார்.

பின்னர் விளையாடிய ஜெபா அணியினர் மிகவும் திணறினார்கள். 23 ரன்களை 8 ஓவரில் எடுத்தால் போதும் என்ற நிலையில் அவர்கள் ரன் எடுக்க மிகவும் சிரமபட்டார்கள். கார்த்திக் அணியினரின் பந்து வீச்சு மிகவும் சிறப்பாக இருந்தது. கார்த்திக் J, வடிவேலன், ஜெபா, மணி மற்றும் ராமலிங்கம் அனைவரும் குறைந்த ரன்களுக்கு அவுட் ஆனார்கள். 7 ஓவருக்கு இவர்கள் வெறும் 12 ரன்களை அடித்து இருந்தனர். இப்போட்டியிலும் வெற்றி கார்த்திக் அணியினருக்கு செல்லும் நிலையில் இருந்தது.

கடைசி ஓவரில் 11 ரன்கள் தேவை என்ற பரபரப்பான சூழ்நிலையில், பர்வதநாதன் பந்து வீச வந்தார். அவர் வீசிய முதல் பந்தை செல்வா பவுண்டரிக்கு விரட்டினார். இப்போது வெற்றிக்கு 5 பந்தில் 7 ரன்கள் வேண்டும். ஓவரின் 2 பந்தில் 2 ரன்கள் எடுத்தார். மூன்றாவது பந்தில் ஒரு ரன் எடுத்தார். நான்காவது பந்தை பழனி சந்தித்தார். அதில் அவர் ரன் அடிக்க தவறினார். இன்னும் இரண்டு பந்தில் 4 அடித்தால் வெற்றி என்ற நிலையில், 5 வது பந்தில் ஒரு சிக்ஸர் அடித்து தனது அணியை பழனி வெற்றி பெற செய்தார். பழனி சிக்ஸர் அடித்த போது போட்டி அரங்கமே அதிரும் வண்ணம் ரசிகர்கள் பலத்த கரகோஷம் எழுப்பினர்.

இந்த வார DASHES SERIES சிறப்பம்சங்கள்:

1. ஜோசப், அமர்நாத், ராஜ்குமார், நாராயணன், வினோத், சங்கர் மற்றும் பலர் இந்த வாரம் போட்டிக்கு வர வில்லை. அதனால் போட்டி கொஞ்சம் சுவாரசியம் இல்லாமல் இருந்தது.

2. பர்வதநாதன் தனது சகோதரரை போட்டிக்கு அழைத்து வந்தார். இதனால், DASHES series - இல் விளையாடும் நான்காவது சகோதரர்கள் என்ற பெருமை பெற்றனர். ஏற்கனவே இத்தொடரில் WAUGH (STEAVE WAUGH & MARK WAUGH), பதான் சகோதரர்கள் (YUSUF PATHAN & IRFAN PATHAN) மற்றும் Malik சகோதரர்கள் (Aman Malik & Mustak Malik) விளையாடி இருக்கின்றனர்.

3. கடந்த வாரம் பெய்த கனமழையின் காரணமாக மைதானத்தில் சில இடங்களில் தண்ணீர் தேங்கி கிடந்தது.

4. துணை முதல் அமைச்சர் அவ்வழியே செல்ல இருப்பதால் DASHES SERIESக்கு பாதுகாப்புக்கு அளிக்க முடியாமல் போட்டியை கைவிட போலிசார், DASHES நிர்வாகத்தை தாழ்மையுடன் வேண்டி கொண்டனர். இதை பெருந்தன்மையுடன் ஏற்று கொண்ட DASHES நிர்வாகம் போட்டிகளை உடனே நிறுத்தியது.

5. முஸ்தாக் மற்றும் யோகேஷ் ஒரு போட்டி கூட விளையாட முடியாத நிலை ஏற்பட்டது.

6. தொடர் நாயகன் விருது வடிவேலனுக்கு வழங்க பட்டது.

7. இரண்டு போட்டிகளே நடை பெற்றதால் இந்த வார தொடர் சமனில் முடிந்தது. கோப்பையினை இரண்டு கேப்டன்களும் பெற்று கொண்டனர்.

Today (26-10-2009), we have played a great DASHES series at TCG. Two matches have been played here to decide the series winner of this week. The two teams were lined-up under the captaincy of Yusuf and Joseph respectively.

Match Results:

Match 1: (12 Overs)
Joseph won the toss and elected to bat. Jebaseelan and Vadivel opened the innings and put a big score on the board. They have scored 48 runs for the first wicket. Vadivel out for the first wicket and scored 22 valuable runs. Javeed went to crease among the huge expectations from the crowd. But bad luck.. He was out for 1 run. Wickets started falling like playing cards. Karthik SM, Joseph, Parvathanath were our for cheaply. In other end, Jebaseelan played very well innings. He hit one six and four consecutively to accelerate the run rate. After the out of Jebaseelan, Padmanaban contributed with his bat. He scored 8 runs in last over. Padmanaban and selva remained unbeaten. Their total runs was 69 for 7 at the end of 12 overs. Yogesh, Yusuf, Shanmugam bowled very well. Yusuf bowled out 3 batsmen.

In reply for that, Yusuf made big mistake to line up a strong batting team. He choose Prabhakaran and Narayanan as opening batsmen. Prabakaran was out for duck (உருவம் தான் duck -னா, அடிச்சா ரன்னும் டக்கா?). Narayanan played very sensibly. Jagan, Vinoth, Yogesh contributed with their bat. Other batsmen failed to score runs. So, Yusuf team folded for just 36 runs. Joseph's team won the match with the huge margin of 33 runs. Yogesh was the only batsman in Yusuf side to hit a six.

Jebaseelan was elected Man of the Match.

Match 2: (10 Overs)
Again, Joseph won the toss and elected to bat first. This time, Karthik SM and Vadivel opened the innings. Vadivel was out for 2 runs. Javeed was out of form with the bat. He scored just 1 run in this match. Selva went to crease. He got some form and tried to increase the run rate. He scored six of shanmugam's bowling. Unfortunately, he retired hurt during the innings and Joseph came to bat with Sankar. Sankar Played very very wonderful innings once again. ஒவ்வொரு அடியும் சும்மா இடி மாதிரி இருந்தது. He scored 45 runs from just 15 balls. He missed unfortunately his half century. Finally, Joseph team scored 88 runs in 10 overs.

Big blow happened to yusuf team in the very first ball of their innings. Their opener Yogesh out for duck in the first ball. Jebaseelan bowled that ball and Arun was the fielder to take that catch.

The other opener Aman (surprise visitor to this ground) played very wonderful innings. Everybody lifted their eyebrows. Joseph did not ask his main bowlers to bowl as they have set very big target. Jebaseelan, Joseph, Parvathanathan, Rajkumar bowled first 6 overs. yusuf team utilized it very well and they replied very strongly. Lakshmanan trashed Joseph's team bowling. Selva missed 2 cathces of Lakshmanan. At one moment they needed just 28 runs from 24 balls. So, Joseph made a bowling change. He asked Sankar to bowl. The in form batsman Aman out in sankar's bowling. Then, nobody can score from that level. The last 3 overs was bowled excellently by Sankar and Padmanaban. Finally Joseph team won the match by 28 runs. And, they won this week DASHES Series as 2-0.

Sankar was selected as Man of the Match and Man of the Series.

This week DASHES series இன் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்

1. Yusuf team night shift முடித்து விட்டு போட்டிக்கு வந்தார்கள்.

2. Rajkumarரும் night shift முடித்து விட்டு TCG க்கு வந்தார்.

3. அதிகம் எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட KK, அவருடைய costumeக்கு ஏற்ற மாதிரி விளையாட வில்லை. அவர் bat செய்யும் போது 3 stumps உம் எகிறியது.

4. yusuf ஏனோ முன் வரிசையில் ஆட வரவில்லை. அவர் வந்திருந்தால் ஒரு வேலை அவரது அணி நன்றாக ஸ்கோர் சேஸ் செய்திருக்கலாம்.

5. 2 வது போட்டியின் போது செல்வா, அவர் கண்ணில் அடி பட்டு retired hurt ஆகி வெளியேறினார்.

6. சங்கர் அடித்த பல சிக்ஸர் ரோடு அருகே சென்றது.

7. இரண்டு அணியினரும் ஸ்கோர் கவுண்ட் செய்யும் போது சிறப்பாக நடந்து கொண்டார்கள்.

8. பர்வதநாதன் & சங்கரும் water cane கொண்டு வந்தார்கள். வீரர்களின் தாகம் தீர்த்த வள்ளல்கள்.

9. yusuf அணியினர் ஸ்கோர் கவுண்ட் செய்வதற்காக ஒரு தனி புத்தகமே கொண்டு வந்து இருந்தனர்.

10. லக்ஷ்மணன் அடித்த ஒரு பந்து செல்வா கையில் பட்டு சிக்ஸர் ஆகியது. அதில் செல்வாவிற்கு விரலில் காயம் ஏற்பட்டது. அதனால் 2 வது போட்டியில் அவர் பந்து வீச வரவில்லை.

11. பத்மநாபன் சிறந்த பந்து வீச்சாளராக செயல் பட்டார். அவர் மொத்தம் 3 over பந்து வீசி 3 விக்கெட் எடுத்து வெறும் 5 ரன் மட்டுமே கொடுத்து அசத்தினார்.

12. இத்தொடரின் ஒரே இடது கை ஆட்டகாரர் பர்வதநாதன்.

MATCH UPDATE

After Diwali celebration, we have played DASHES matches at Trisulam Cricket Ground (TCG) on 19th October.

Today, 3 matches were played to decide the winner of this week DASHES SERIES. The teams were captained by Javeed and Selva respectively.

Match 1: (8 Overs match)

Selva won the toss and elected to bat first. They managed to score only 27 runs in 8 overs. Jebaseelan was the highest scorer in this innings with 12 runs.

Captain Vs Captain

The interesting point was Selva bowled out by Javeed. Captain bowled opponent team’s captain.

In reply to that Javeed team failed to chase that score. The last 4 overs bowled excellently by Padmanaban and Selva. Javeed team needed 10 runs from last 6 balls. They did it successfully last week. But it did not happen this week. Arun faced selva’s first ball. He can’t score for the first 3 balls. He scored 1 run in the 4th ball. So, now they need to score 9 runs in just 2 balls to win the match. Javeed faced 5th ball. He failed to hit that ball. So, the win was guaranteed to selva’s team. He bowled out Javeed in the last ball. Again it was Captain Vs. Captain.

Selva team won by 8 runs.

Match 2: (10 Overs match)

Javeed won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 51 runs in 10 overs. In reply, Selva’s team failed to chase this score. They managed to scored just 33 runs and lost the match by 17 runs. Very good bowling performance by Yusoof, Dinesh, Javeed.

Match 3: (8 Overs match)

Even though it was a very hot day, all the players agreed to play the 3rd match to decide the series winner. KK and Amarnath had urgent work and they retired from the series. So, yusoof came to selva team. Selva won the toss and choose to bat first. They scored 57 runs in just 8 overs. Yusoof, Vinoth, Mustak, Padmanaban, Jebaseelan batted very well.

Javeed team chased it very hard. But the good bowling performance from their opponent can’t allow them to reach this score. Javeed & Co managed to score just 43 runs in 8 overs and lost by 14 runs.

This week DASHES SERIES won by selva’s team as 2-1.

Some important features of this week DASHES SERIES:

1. The series was so enjoyable as Yusoof, Thamizh, Yogeshwaran, Lakshmanan, KK, Rafiq, Vadivel V were participated newly in this series.

2. Even though yusoof tried to make opponent team against DASHES Series, he came to play here at TCG(Trisulam Cricket Ground) with his some of the team mates.

Hats Off to Yusoof Bhai.

3. Selva broke his ankle by trying to save a boundary. He also fell down while running for a run. He got injury in his hands and leg.

4. Yogeshwaran and Arun tried to take a catch at boundary line. Both collided each other, Yogeshwaran got heavy injury.

5. Javeed made the ball disappear into the Railway track twice in consecutive balls.

6. All the 3 matches were won by the team batted first. Toss was the crucial thing in this ground (Like Kolkata's Eden Garden ground).

8. Joseph S can't come to play in DASHES Series for the last two occassions as he was in his native place for urgent work.

7. Rajkumar, Amarnath, Rafiq, Yogeshwaran etc., came to the ground after completing their night shift work. Hats Off to you guys. Thanks for coming.

Match 1: (10 Overs match)

Javeed team won by 6 runs. They scored 54 runs in 10 Overs. Selva team failed to chase this score. They were all out for 48 runs in 10 Overs.

Match 2: (10 Overs match)

Many records were broken in this match. Sankar scored highest individual score in DASHES Series. He scored 65 runs. He made another record with Padmanaban. They both scored 97 runs for the first wicket partnership. It helped their team to score 100 runs in 10 Overs. It was the highest runs scored by any team in this ground.

Javeed team collapsed to 19 runs all out in just 6 Overs. It was the lowest score by any team in this ground in DASHES Series. They lost in 81 runs. This 81 runs win margin was the highest margin by any team in this ground.

Match 3: (8 Overs match)

Selva team scored 45 runs in 8 Overs. In reply to that, Javeed team chased this score successfully in just 6 Overs. Vadivel (Padmanaban’s friend) played very good innings in this game.

Finally, Javeed team clinched the DASHES SERIES as 2-1.

டேஷேஸ் வரலாறு

After Merrill Premier League (MPL), many guys wanted to play cricket regularly. So, we looked for the possibilities to play regular cricket, atleast once in a week. Mr. Arunkumar took a great initiative to co-ordinate the guys and collected the funds to buy the kit. Even girls in the office also sponsered to play.

How the name comes?

Selva, Javeed and Joseph wanted to name the series. Initially, we liked to call as "EPL". But Javeed suggested that it is like copying "IPL" and "MPL". So, we combinedly choosed the name "DASHES". It comes from the great epic series between England vs Australia, the "ASHES". "DASHES" means guys shows their spirit to win the game against their opponent. DASHES series has been playing on every monday, hence it has been called "Monday Morning Dashes Series".

First official DASHES seires played on 17th August.

We have choose Trisulam ground to play DASHES on every monday for several reason.

1. The ground is near to Trisulam Railway station. So, all the players can easily reach the ground.

2. Because of Monday, no crowd will be on the ground.

3. Monday morning, we have minimum staffing in the office. So, many players can come to play.
